I`ve been promising this for over a year now! Finally my computer is fully up and running again, so here it is! This is actually the first Dave Allen routine that came into my mind when I heard he had died. I wonder what he made of those damned self-service check-outs and Chip and Pin.

@galleybox Have you forgotten forum rules? Common decency? I guess not. I replace letters with numbers so that they are not direct curse words on the page. That doesn’t make my sentences hard to understand, and they are still properly typed with proper grammar and punctuation. I’d like to see you take a few seconds to try that before I take you seriously, because if you don’t even take that time to type, you can’t be taking this situation seriously either. Work on that laugh too.

@galleybox From the way you talk to people and look down upon them, I wouldn’t be surprised if they purposely sent you to the sh5tiest cash register boy/girl available to show you that mutual respect is a two way street. You don’t have to be anything to be able to reason about it and form a working hypothesis like opendtuning did, but clearly you can’t see that due to your lack of respect for any opinion other than your own. I wouldn’t serve you for my life, and I don’t even work in that area.

The store I use tends to move everything 3 feet to the left every 6 months or so, so you never know QUITE where everything is.

Y’see, in my little redneck corner of Oklahoma, Walmart IS the only grocery store in town. But, concerning regular grocery stores, the best time is either early in the morning or late at night.
I agree, Walmart is icky. It so makes me miss my grocery store back in my (former)hometown(best meat in the area, especially on Wednedays).
